So in one way or another school always seems to ruin all my plans! I have been planning this trip to Edmonton on Friday to watch Evan get his tongue split for 2 or 3 weeks now. I got it all cleared and made sure I had nothing important to do that day and all my homework was done. Then, i get into my Business Law class today and she informed us that our review was changed to Friday. THANK YOU SCHOOL FOR MESSING UP THE ONE THING I HAD FOR A SOCIAL LIFE! Anyone else feel like a hermit when semesters are crazy??

When I was in college we were so slack!!
Example: Teacher - "This assmniment is due... Tomorrow? Nah, I want them perfect so I will give you two week!"
ANOTHER example: Teacher - "You have the flu!? Don't worry about the assinment! Hand it in when you get better "
That wasnt just my classes, every teacher was like that. Or if we just didn't go he would email us the assinments we missed in class. No problem.
I hate hearing from you and my other girls who are in school who rough it is here. :( Thats why I just went to work! aha

School will do that to you.
I always make sure to plan my life around school, and the possibility of school.
I can't tell you how many times I've said 'no, I can't do that I've got to work on this project/ study for this test'
That being said, I took a HUGE gamble and bought concert tickets for a date during exams, and got TOTALLY lucky in the way that I have an exam every day except the day of the concert.
So I can still go. Phew
As I see it, if you choose to go to school, you make the choice to sacrifice social activities for academic ones. That's the price of admission, if you're not willing to pay it, don't go, or take a failing grade.

Social life = 0 for this guy. Though for the first time in about 2.5 months I'm going out drinking tonight with my friends so yay!

** Virtually handing you a bottle of Advil, A beer, and clamato juice for the morning** Lethbridge is the death of my liver every single time I go out!

I remember going out with friends.
Oh how much fun.
Now my social life is literally eating lunch with the same people every Monday and Wednesday because we have an almost two hour long break.
Woot!

I still go out every once and a while, like my friends band was playing at Ranchmans last weekend. My boy ALWAYS wants to go out and I always have to stay home :(

I haven't seen my boyfriend in 2 weeks. I'm on a student schedule and I work weekends, and he's a waiter (works every evening). QQ.
Luckily I have university friends that have a sort of same schedule as me.
So I totally know that feel, Chantelle/SlimJim/Megan. At least there's only a month and a half left of this year.
