do any of you have your feet tattooed?

I was wondering how much it hurts and how well colour holds!

I want to get bats tattooed up the side of my foot and onto my ankle

Colour hold like poo. My foot is SUPER faded and thats what most artists expect with feet from what iv herd and experienced. It really didnt hurt bad tho, other then right down by my toes >.<

I have two french polonesian skulls in the shape of a heart on my foot and two more of the same style up my leg, and they where my first ones ever and they where the least painfull of all of them :)

IT SUCKS SO BAD. i have skeleton feet, though...
but it's worth it because it makes feet look cuter than they are..
i have roses all over my whole leg, from my foot to my bum.
everything held up well, but my foot is taking quite a few touch-ups.

Why is it that ink doesn't hold well on feet? That's so strange!

I always thought it didnt hold becuase your constantly rubbing it and in general kind of hard on your feet.

its probably the friction like you mentioned and the amount of oils on your skin is different on your hands feet and face apparently

I have my face tattooed (eyebrows) and they are soooo faded you can barely see them! I got them when I was 17 and I'm 21 now...

but its worth it. i got mine in october of 2007..colour has held very well. however it matters on your artist..

i had a really bad artist work on my arm and now i need it all re done

it really hurt me,

My foot didn't hurt but it swelled soooo badly for soooo long. Honestly, I was limping for 3 whole weeks. It was a freak disaster. I need a couple spots touched up really badly but the rest is fine. Honestly, the top of my foot is still tender, and I got it done a couple months ago. If you get your foot done, take a couple days off and rest it.

yeah lay down with your foot a little elevated and it helps with the swelling, i found my was really swollen, but it didnt really hurt me much, other then by my toes...that sucked.

its odd that tattoos dont hold up on feet considering your feet and hands are where henna is most vivid and lasts the longest.. weird

My feet didn't hurt too bad at all, although I nearly kicked my artist in the face when she hit a nerve, har har... :But they did sweel MASSIVELY and the color hasn't held well at all. I had my cats portraits done, and the white, of course, was the first to go, and now the black has faded supremely.
